- Standard cost for small orders start from £14.98 plus vat for orders upto £151.00 then £19.98 for orders from £151.00 to £349.00 plus VAT Standard Delivery 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
- Spend £350.00 plus vat to receive FREE delivery on stair parts only (excludes manufactured staircases)
- Delivery charges for Bespoke made staircases are based on distance from Our Postcode to site.
Stair parts are delivered throughout the UK including, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man.
Items are placed on a three day delivery service to England, Lowlands of Scotland and Wales.
Items to the Highlands of Scotland, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man are placed on a minimum 10 day service and would need a delivery quote.
A confirmation email will be sent to confirm your order once placed on our website.
Delivery Cost: Our delivery charges are all based on the weight of the product and order. Standard cost for small orders start from £14.98 plus vat for orders upto £151.00, then £19.98 for orders from £151.00 to £349.00 plus VAT. We offer Free delivery for orders over £350 plus vat. Please allow a minimum of 7 working days for delivery unless a specific date is requested. Please see “Preferred Delivery Date” or “special instructions box” at the end of your order. If items are not received within 7 working days of your order being placed please Contact us.
Receiving Your Order: Please check all parcels for damage or if there are any missing items. Please report any damaged or missing items to us on 01827 54988 or by email sales@shawstairs.com as soon as possible. If items are missing or damaged these must be reported within 48 HOURS of your order being received in order for them to be replaced. We may request photographic evidence for items that are damaged when necessary. Please check with the courier, that the total number of all parcels are present and intact on delivery before signing your delivery ticket. If any items are damaged please sign on the ticket as “damaged”. Any items that have not been signed for as damaged will not be replaced. (Items cannot be replaced if a parcel is missing that has been signed for.) The company shall not be liable in any way for any direct or indirect loss, damage or expenses (including but not limited to loss of profits and liability to third parties) suffered or incurred by the buyer as a consequence of any delay in delivery. When signing for your items please ensure that you also date and write the time delivered on the courier’s sheet.
PLEASE NOTE ALL DELIVERY’S ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE ON TIME. Shaw Stairs Cannot accept any responsibility on orders not arriving on time. We recommend NOT booking Carpenters until all goods are on site and correctly checked. Shaw Stairs cannot accept liability for tradesmen bookings if delivery is late or not checked and ordered in time.
Please note in order to reduce the environmental impact of raw materials, it is necessary to use laminated and or finger jointed materials. Timber is a natural material and whilst great care is taken to match jointed pieces some colour variation is to be expected.
Returns: In respect to standard goods that the buyer has left over from an order, these can be returned for a refund as long as the following principals are followed. The buyer must return the goods to the company in their original packaging and the same condition as received (with any shrink wrap intact), and are not part of a multipack within 28 days from the date of delivery to the address below. Unfortunately we do not offer a free returns policy, so it is the customers responsibility to return all goods. Any goods returned within 28 days are also subject to a restocking fee of 15%. Items that are returned after the 28 day returns period are none refundable. None standard stair parts and stairs which are Bespoke items cannot be returned for a refund.
Refunds will be issued within 10 working days once items have been received. We will notify you when the item(s) have been received and the item refunded by email. For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded & insured delivery service.
