Solution HALF chrome newel post base connector that has been made in a chrome metal. This connector is used to join a spigot newel post to an existing half post, it helps to hide the join and add a contemporary look.
We also have a half base connector, a full connector in chrome and matching caps available.
How does the base connector work?
This half solution chrome newel post base connector, is used to cover the join when fitting a spigot newel post. In theory, you will have a current newel post or base cut down, the Solution half newel base connector will then sit onto this, and the newel post with the peg (spigot post) will then sit on top to provide a clean finish and contemporary touch.
Measurements
This design is made for a 90mm x 42mm newel post, with overall dimensions of 102mm x 50mm x 35mm with a 25mm recess (same profile and design as the solution newel cap).

- Delivery charges for Bespoke made staircases are based on distance from Our Postcode to site.
Stair parts are delivered throughout the UK including, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man.
When orders are ready to be dispatched, these are booked on a two day delivery service to England, Lowlands of Scotland and Wales. Customers will be notified by email when an order is dispatched.
Items to the Highlands of Scotland, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man are placed on a minimum 10 day service and would need a delivery quote.
